As it turns out, blackmail is the major plot point and catalyst for everything happening including murder. JD is filming and blackmailing townspeople, the professor is blackmailing Trumbo, etc. Were you surprised by anything that occurred concerning the blackmails? Did anyone being blackmailed shock you and if so, did it change your opinion of that person. Share your thoughts.

Charlene was a surprise. I thought she was so nice! It did change my opinion of her.

The blackmail scheme was a surprise to me. Also, I was surprised by Charlene.

Somehow, I just didn't see the professor as involved in a blackmail scheme.

I wanted more dirt on the townspeople. I was disappointed that Jordan wasn't interested in the list so we never got to hear all that much.

It did not much change my opinion of anybody. Everyone has secrets. Some are worse than others, but everyone has them.

I agree that I didn't see the professor being involved in blackmail. He was obnoxious and had no manners, but I couldn't see him blackmailing people.
