A Clockwork Orange A Clockwork Orange question

What is the most unhinged (but enjoyable) book you've read? Horror, thriller, toxic romance... I want my mind blown!

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. It’s a book that is eerily beautiful that keeps you thinking about it long after you’ve read it.

Tender is the flesh (it is disgusting but compelling!)

See How It Feels to Float. If you're interested in a book that plays with language (not quite like Anthony Burgess does, but similar), I think you'll find this one fascinating. I found it mindbending. Fox is genre-boundary-breaking, innovative, and blends fiction and poetry in a way that just works. I'm not quite sure how else to explain it.

To whet your appetite:
"GRIEF FEELS LIKE THIS:
an okay day and a good day an okay day
then a
bad.
Bad that follows and empties you.
Bad like a sinkhole . . ."

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh.

Like A Clockwork Orange, it has its own dialect, which some readers might find challenging in the first page, but once you get through it, it's quite an impressive read. One of the filthiest books I've read.

The Bully Squad by Neil Shieldman. Just read it and it was...it was awesome but at times just out there. It was an impressive read, though.

Filth by Irvine Welsh.

But the book that I didn't enjoy? "Lolitta", that was disgusting.

La cena, El llanto o Como me hice monja de Aira. Cualquier cosa de él es un delirio pero de lo mejor❤
