I finished this book like a week ago and I still think about it omg, i already named two plants achilles and patroclus I can’t

Guyssss I can’t get past when they arrive at Troyyy. I try to finish it but I just don’t have the willpower ☹️☹️ Please give me something to look forward to cause I really enjoyed the book so far

I definitely cried in the end.I kinda fell in love with Achilles... yk... patroclus described him in a way that I can't help but fall for him. he described his beauty so nicely that now I'd die to see him. and i think that's how love is supposed to be.
also there are books about the trojan war from the point of view of other characters like Brises. they all paint Achilles as the villain.

but the fact that "song of Achilles" which is from the view of Achilles' lover describes Achilles as a young legendary worrier in love. like so in love.

I love that... I love how Patroclus loved Achilles as if he is a pookie, given that Achilles was like a 'killing machine'.

I haven’t read it yet. But is it like fantasy or what , I always feel like these kind of books often has a complicated writing style that makes me stop reading it.
Is this book complicated in terms of language and world building?

hey Sam...i would not say that this a a fantasy..i think it comes under historical fiction or greek mythology..
and for the writing style..its not much complicated but rather quite simple...it took me about 3 or 4 chapters to get into it(i was a beginner)
so we can safely say that its an easy read and it was a 5 star for me!!
I highly recommend it

Okay so I haven't read The Song of Achilles but I want to. And I read the first few pages, and why is it so confusing and hard to read? Like I don't understand what is happening lol
