What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Listened to this as a book on tape as a child, so it’s at least 10 years old. Never saw a cover. There is a family that secretly has blue skin and aren’t from the planet they are currently on. They are hiding as normal inhabitants of the planet (could be earth, not sure though) so hiding their blue skin.

One of the older family members turns old enough to be moved to a senior living retreat center (all the elderly in the society are forced to go) but the other family members have doubts and go to break the grandparent out of the facility, because they think that the elderly are just killed there (which I think turns out to be true).

I remember a bit about Elvis impersonators, members of the family hiding in bushes to avoid authorities, and at one point there is a gathering on a back porch after curfew hours where people play music? Read this a while ago, so details are very fuzzy.
