Ben ends up at Crossroads at Greg’s orchestration, a so-called camp to “de-gay” him where he almost dies from insulin shock. Greg shows up at the hospital and Izzy gets into it with him, causing the police to show up. Officer Kellen creates a nightmare when he first refuses to believe Ben and almost sends him back with Greg. The legal system…is it really designed to protect the child? Your thoughts about this whole situation?

I don't blame Officer Kellen. He comes into a volatile situation cold, having no idea what has truly happened. At the least Ben should have been sent to foster care because he was making charges of abuse against Greg. It's a flawed system.
