Author: Jasmine Guillory
Would you recommend this book? Yes. I don't read a ton of romance, but I enjoyed the characters and was rooting for them to find a happy ending. This was the perfect escape read for me the week I read it.

John Warner (jwarner6comcastnet) Title: The Calculating Stars
Author: Mary Robinette Kowal
Would you recommend this book? Yes. This tour-de-force novel is a blending of science and social commentary on gender and racial disparities. There is enough science to interest "hard" science fiction fans. The diverse cast of supporting characters add depth and verisimilitude of this engaging story.

Author: Rainbow Rowell
Recommend?: I would say read fangirl before the mangas. I fudged this prompt because Fangirl was written during NaNoWriMo not the mangas.

Would you recommend this book? Yes, it was a good book about dealing with grief and moving on in life. The romance was realistic.

Author: Claire Kann
Would you recommend this book? Yes, I really liked it. I had DNF'd it the year before, thinking that I didn't like the way the MC, who is asexual, was infantilized. I started again, and just appreciated the representation. The characters became more interesting this time around, maybe I was just in the right space, and hey, anyone of any identity can be a little immature, right? A very worthwhile read.
