At what point in the story were you able to connect the scientists to the murder of Harrison? What clued you in? Share your thoughts about the wolves turning the table on Dr. Eric Carter (who had injected them) & killing him.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Read the book too long ago to remember. But I did wonder what else the injections did to the wolf, almost humanizing the natural hunting (carnivore) instincts with smarts.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I knew they had something to do with Harrington's death from the beginning. When they mentioned trying to inject an adult to see how they reacted, I figured that Harrington was their guinea pig.

I thought it was karma that Ricky the wolf killed Dr. Carter after being injected by him.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I don't remember exactly when, but it was fairly early on. For sure by the time when Harrington was found. I just questioned how they managed to do all the testing on him and get him to Alaska.

I agree that the injections did some strange things to the animals, it was almost like it enhanced their conative functions.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I was a little slow. I think it was about halfway through before I caught on. I don't know what happened but it was something the scientists said.
