Welcome to our August/Sept 23 Bobby Owen buddy read of Secrets Can't be Kept . First published in 1944, this is the twentieth book in the series.

Deep in bucolic Wychshire something dreadful is stirring ...

The scene abounds with the intense, the afflicted, and the darkly humorous in classic Punshon style. I will be joining in but have a book or two to finish first. Owned books always get pushed behind library borrows.

I’m about half way through this one and really enjoying it. It has a really menacing vibe, and it’s nice to see more of Olive this time.

This is another book in the queue - the month will probably be over before I get through them all!

I'll be reading this one but am another one who needs to finish another book first!

I've started now and the mystery is building.
