Sophia Drake | 35 comments I want to help out some fellow Indie authors! My reviews are genuine and honest and can be put on most platforms. I'm looking for YA novels, preferably fiction. Must be clean.
Thank you!

Sanne N. | 13 comments Can I suggest my book? It's a YA Urban Fantasy novel with adventure, romance and shenanigans. Mostly clean, but it does have references to off-screen hijinks (underage drinking, characters getting intimate, basically college kids being college kids). Nothing explicit is ever shown, and cursing is also kept to a minimum.

E.B. Roshan | 30 comments Hello Sophia,

If you like historical fantasy, eccentric characters, and plants, I think you'd enjoy Orchidelirium, my new novella. At just under 40k, it's a quick read, and the cartoon-style illustrations are fun and unique.

Here's the book description:

An heiress, a tiger, an artificial arm, a hatbox of stolen orchids: each one is a vine in the tangle of Opal Morris's life. As she begins to discover how they all connect, she will find herself re-evaluating not only her botanical studies, but her whole life…

If this sounds interesting to you, please let me know and I’ll send you a copy in the file format of your choice. My email is btznvntATgmailDOTcom

My book is for YA, however this may not be the typical genre you review. Please contact me at iamchangingcareers (at) Gmail (dot) com if interested in reading.

"I Am Changing Careers" is a series of questions and answers that will encourage and motivate you on your own journey of what works to get hired. Topics include choosing your career, getting hired, how to take care of your health, and what to do once you have the job. The roadmap at the end of the book provides a 2-week daily checklist of how to implement the contents of the book and find meaningful employment as quickly as possible.

Jeffrey Ogochukwu (rioflash) | 6 comments Would a thriller/horror novel interest you?

Here's a little about my book, Stay Away:
Twenty-five years ago, Kevin’s parents were brutally murdered. Two decades later, Kevin is forced to watch helplessly as his fiancée suffers torture at the hands of the same murderer.

Never fully recovering from the trauma, he moves to a new city, hoping to start his life anew, leaving his devastating past behind. But things don’t go as planned when he meets Natasha—the daughter of an officer hunting for his kind.

They soon discover the battered corpse of a missing detective assigned to investigate the murder of his fiancée, which signals a new danger. However, when the horror from his past returns, Kevin is forced to stay away from Natasha—or watch her fall victim to a ghoul who takes pleasure in tormenting him.

Jeffrey Ogochukwu (rioflash) | 6 comments My novel, Stay Away, has been sitting on Amazon's digital shelves for weeks, quietly trying to find its way into the hands of readers. Despite the captivating tale it held within its pages, the book's cover seemed to be an obstacle rather than an invitation. It was clear that something needed to change. Just recently, I changed the book cover. To my absolute delight, the response has been incredible, with sales skyrocketing beyond my expectations. And guess what? My book has now claimed the No. 1 spot on Amazon Free Bestsellers list, not just in one marketplace, but in both the US and UK! 📚🌟 This goes to show that a book is truly judged by its cover. I'm a little worried that all his might returned to how it was after the promotion is over, which is why i'm trying to get some reviews to gain some validation. You can find more information on my Amazon book page. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XH3CWJS

Sophia Drake | 35 comments lol. Don't judge a book by its cover is truly a pipe dream seeing as we look at the cover first to decide if we want to read more.
What does it mean Kevin's kind? And is the ghoul a humanoid or a demon-like being?

Hello Sophia,

I’m seeking reviews for my recently self-published cozy mystery with sweet romance novel, Murder After Hours.

Robin Ingals owns a flourishing vacation rental business in Starry Hill, Washington. She’s thirty-six, recently divorced, and childless. In an effort to heal, she buys a fixer-upper cottage and adopts a family of cats. The last thing she expected was to find a tall, handsome landscaper, Lee Kellerman, to help with the yard. And she didn’t imagine her heart would be able to love again.

With so many things looking up, Robin is shattered again when her recently hired secretary, Letitia Ruiz, is horribly crushed while performing after hours at an amateur performance.

With the help of Lee and the local sheriff, they delve into the complicated drama surrounding the victim’s life. As they navigate the secrets and rivalries of the theater world, they must uncover the identity of the killer before they strike again.
Will they solve the mystery in time, or become the next targets? Find out in this gripping tale of murder and mayhem in the theater.

I’m using Bookfunnel to handle the reviews. Here is a link: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/7opitzi8m2

Thank you so much!

Robert Borders | 3 comments Hi, Sophie

I have a YA book that would fit in with your description.
Catch the Witch is about a trio of friends trying to solve the murder of a teacher at their high school.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKP3SQD7
The Violence is descriptive but not graphic, the language is implied, and I focus on just trio of high school girls. There will be romance in future books, I wanted to let them speak for themselves.
This is published through House of Honor. A small publishing company based out of Harvest, AL.
In fact, my publisher is one of the two people who left a review.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
It's a quick read at 151 Kindle/167 paperback pages.
Thank you

Terry Lister (bagot) Hi Spohia, l have written a book about how Christmas is celebrated across Africa. Given the time of year l am keen to build the number of reviews being posted for the book .
Here is the book blurb:

For some living in highly developed societies, Christmas is a time of exorbitant expense and sheer panic. Children are suddenly acutely aware of their conduct, and parents subconsciously feel pressured to tackle pricey wish lists.

But in Africa, Christmas is a little different, especially depending on the country you decide to visit.

Terry Lister’s experiences and research gives the reader a glimpse into the customs and practices of more than 13 African nations, delivering an educational taste of the traditional foods and common rituals. Vibrant photographs display the cultural variety and demonstrate the ways in which unlikely communities work together to make the season a festive time for all, including the most impoverished.

There are lessons to be learned and adventures to be had within the pages of this literary travel treasure. Explore Christmas in Africa and prepare to walk away challenged on the concepts of what it really means to have peace, joy and love during the holiday season.

My book Peace, Joy and Love:Christmas Across Africa is available on KU and downloading it will result in a verified review. I vsn also send the book as an Amazon gift ebook or l can send a pdf. which is your preference?

THE LONG NIGHT
The Long Night (Book 1): A Post-Apocalyptic Cyber Thriller

description

Amazon link: https://a.co/d/gZy0y0U

At its core, the story revolves around a family who find themselves in a world where all technological devices suddenly become useless. While exploring the consequences of three interconnected catastrophic events in the United States - a cyberattack, failures in nuclear power plants, and an electromagnetic pulse - the novel also highlights themes of family, love, societal dependencies, the vulnerability of our contemporary world, and the intrinsic human instinct to build communities in times of crisis.

Hi Sophia,

I have a clean YA dystopian novel called Hologram that I will be releasing on November 18 (full description below). I would love for you to get a free copy and leave an honest review on launch day. You can get it here: https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopi...
(Please note that this is a temporary cover while the real one is being finished)

HOLOGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Voturans who captured 18-year-old Aaron’s family can make anything they want with the click of a button. But the things they make aren’t real. They are convincing mirages, mere holograms.

And Aaron is the only person in the world who can tell the difference between a hologram and the real thing.

This talent makes Aaron valuable to the Voturans, especially the ambitious General Druxa. Druxa enlists Aaron as an officer, submerging him in the luxurious world of the Voturan upper classes, and demands that he help Druxa see through the holographic deceptions of Votura’s enemies.

Aaron lives a double life, consoled only by his growing friendship with Druxa’s daughter, Antonia, and the slaves assigned to him. To stay alive, he conceals his anger and desire for vengeance, feigning loyalty to Votura and aiding them in their endless wars—even against his own people of Taurus.

His success brings him ever greater power and influence among the Voturans, while in secret he searches for his lost family so he can rescue them from a fate worse than death. But power corrupts, and if Aaron can’t control his flaming anger and phantasmic desire for revenge, the people he loves most will pay the price.

Beautiful and deadly illusions flicker through the skies, insurgents plot under a fiery moon, and the drums of the Temple are beating for the Offering. Will Aaron save his loved ones and himself…and will it cost him his own humanity?

Hi Sophia,

I am the author of a historical romance novel. Below is the blurb of my book:

Aliya Mirza and Jai Singh were destined as neighbors. They weren't supposed to become friends. They certainly weren't allowed to fall in love.

Because once they do, they find themselves embroiled in a tangled web of deceit and betrayal amidst a tumultuous nationwide divide. Memories blur. Words lose their meaning. Love no longer has a place to stay.

Surviving is the only option. Tormenting the other to death is a choice they make.

For when life rewards them with differences too blatant and hurdles too many, their love story threatens them with an ending they never wanted. Forever apart.

---------------------------------------

I'd love to have your reviews on my novel (I can share a PDF of the original manuscript with you). If this is something that interests you, please do let me know.

Henry Hines Hello!

My name is Henry, and I am an author, a teacher, and a dungeon master. Some days I struggle to know which is most important.

I recently published my first book, the God of Make Believe, an epic fantasy murder mystery.

After the funeral for his best friend, Finley finds himself transported to a strange and unfinished world where statues move and ghosts see inside your head. But even this world has murders.

Given a sign that the recent spate of murders in the magical city of Oshroar is connected to his friend's death back on Earth, Finley sets forth to crack the case! His only partner in the case is a magical, ghostly flower that can detect when people tell the truth, which is a real problem for a liar like Finley.

As the hapless teenage detective works to solve the case, he starts to discover the secret his friend Huck hid at the heart of this world, the secret that might have killed him.

Prelude of Fire: The Gailean Quartet, Book 1

Hello there!! I'm an author of a YA epic fantasy series. Previously published, but I had to leave the publisher last year due to an unfortunate negative experience. So, like my characters, I'm on a quest! I'll be republishing later this year and am questing for early readers for my ARC for Book 1, Prelude of Fire.

Prelude of Fire has found family, a good vs. evil quest, emotional twists and turns, and elemental and musical magic. One reader says it's like "if Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings had a baby."

ARC is available in PDF, Epub, and Mobi.

If you're interested in helping me out, drop a comment or message me here directly. I appreciate any help I can get for a successful relaunch. Thanks for considering!

Here's the blurb to help you decide if you're interested:

A desperate mission. Sinister sorcery. Can she find the seven prism shards to stop the world from being destroyed?

Ashlai, a young Fyre mage who can harness powers of flame from the sun, yearns to know about her kin. Her adoptive elven father refuses to let her travel abroad with her brother, and she despairs of ever knowing who she really is. But when the new king’s vicious spell attacks her forest home, she flees toward that unknown past—and an uncertain destiny—guided only by the strange melody in her head and a piece of broken prism.

Determined to save the land from the enchanted drought burning everything in its path, Ashlai searches for six other magical fragments to overthrow the ruthless king. With the help of a shape-shifting thief, two squabbling bards, and a snarky water elf, she races toward a perilous confrontation…and a life-changing truth.

Can Ashlai fight fire with fire to defeat the devastating spell before it consumes the entire land? And can she survive the secrets she discovers without losing her new friends, her family, and even herself?

Prelude of Fire is the thrilling first book in The Gailean Quartet YA epic fantasy series. Featuring a diverse cast, high-stakes quests, and music melded with magic, you’ll love Schulze’s emotional journey.

Read Prelude of Fire to ignite destiny today!

Michelle, The Book Critic (michellethebookcritic) | 5 comments Hi Sophia,

I’m a book reviewer just like you, but I would like to forward a review opportunity from my author friend, Loris Owen. You can contact her at hello@lorisowen.com

She is currently working on the US edit of her middle-grade literary fiction novel, 'The Ten Riddles of Eartha Quicksmith', published in the UK by Firefly Press. It's clean fiction, is a fantasy action adventure for fans of Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter, and has been described as "Big Hero 6 meets Gravity Falls"!

Puzzles and riddles encourage critical thinking, and teamwork, empathy, family and friendships are important throughout. You can find out more at www.quicksmiths.com.

As she’s self-publishing in the US with no author presence there, and only has a small budget to do this, I'm really keen to help to spread the word to other reviewers!

She can send you a copy of the UK print (whether you are based in the UK or US) any time. The US print version won't be available for another month or so as she is still finalising illustrations and final touches.

If you interested, please email Loris at hello@lorisowen.com! Let her know if you'd like the UK print or prefer to wait for the US print :)

If you are not based in the UK or US, let her know as well. I’m not entirely sure if she ships internationally, but you can always check! Her ebook will be ready to share in a few more weeks as well.

A.T. | 4 comments Hello!
I'm hoping you are still looking for more book. I have a few already published, but my newest "Life, Death, and Fire" series is a fantasy series young adults / adults can enjoy. A bird's eye would see a DnD style world with various characters and subplots.
The main character, Christoph, is a young man sent to fight in his Emperor's battles. Always daydreaming about being a renowned Destined Blade, he gets his opportunity at glory by being conscripted for battle. Though the farm boy loses everything, he may find peace wearing the crown of monsters. If he doesn't lose his mind, first.

There are already more books done, and I'm doing the audio books myself. I would greatly appreciate a fantasy lover's opinion as I try to share some joy with readers. I also have books for free on ATHaessly.com if that's preferable.
