This is the third book in a series, but you don't have to read the first two books to understand this one.

In the book, Sarah Patrick and her dog, Monty, go on search and rescue missions, all leading to a surprising twist that the reader never sees coming.

I love Iris Johansen, and this is definitely one of my favorite books that she's written.
