I just started understanding speculative fiction. What other kinds are there?

Contemporary Fiction Definition – What's the best definition for the contemporary fiction genre? Books in the contemporary fiction genre are made up of stories that could happen to real people in real settings. The books do not fall under other categories or genres. (taken from google search)

Anne of Avonlea! Of Course! Every time a challenge puts me on the spot like a certain letter or certain word in the title, my brain freezes and nothing occurs to me.

Looks like I am only going to be checking one off the list this month.
