Lyra Prescott is a student of documentary film making and takes on city parks for a project. After finding Paraiso Park has been turned into a toxic dump, she decides to include the people she catches illegally dumping as well as their license plate numbers on film for her expose. Did you have any inkling at first that this innocent act on her part would become part of the plot line as motive for someone trying to kill her later on? At what point did you figure it out? Thoughts?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I thought it would figure big in the story but how it turned out surprised me. I was blindsided by the second baddie and their relationship to the park.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I am a ditto with Anita here.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I figured she caught somebody dumping illegally and that was the reason they were out to stop her from making her documentary.

We're in agreement. The filming of illegal dumping was obvious, but she mentions a time or two that she's captured license plates & faces...then I knew someone would be trying to stop her.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with everyone. I knew as soon as she discovered the Park was a dumping ground that she would uncover a crime.
