Nicole Shantae (tealphine) | 45 comments I found out about this website a few days ago. It's interesting because you can upload your book but readers have to request access before they can read it. So I signed up and uploaded my book and invited some readers. The site doesn't seem super user friendly since readers are listed in alphabetical order and there's hundreds so scrolling through was a pain. Before I invest too much time, has anyone used this site and successfully gotten any readers from there?

Dan Yokum | 2 comments I tried it about a year ago and didn't get much out of it. I had much better luck with posting here on Goodreads. And, you're right, it isn't very user friendly.

Dee Lorraine | 4 comments Hi Nicole,

I signed up for the free version of BetaReader.io a few weeks ago. My manuscript is there now, and I would love to have you read it. I need your email address to send the invitation, and you can see how the platform works.

I have had one beta reader complete my manuscript. I met her on GoodReads and invited her to the BR platform. We beta-read each other's manuscripts on the BR platform.

The BetaReader platform has features including notifying you in real-time when a reader starts, comments on, and finishes each chapter. Readers can make inline comments and leave remarks at the end of each chapter, and the author can reply in real time or later.

Readers cannot see each other's comments.

My manuscript is THE FIRST AND LAST CONCERT, 98k-word contemporary women's fiction with diverse characters.

If you want more information, let me know.

Thanks,
Dee Lorraine
