AlisonClaire | 2 comments That Bowen and Mariketa's book, Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night, takes place largely in a tropical jungle? And there is very little indication (that I can recall) of what season it takes place in?

I have this theory that the publisher had no real idea what the book was about (which accounts for the cover, which I hate because it looks like Professor Snape groping Ginny Weasley in a snowstorm) but just came up with a title to go along with the cover art that already existed. No idea if that's true, but it makes me sad because the book is ones ofmy absolute favorite of the series and the cover and title are just ridiculous!

Lol I probably think about these books too much....

Cara | 4 comments I agree, I don't really like the cover art for that book either. I got to thinking though, remember when she was in her own dimension and was stuck looking at the mirror? She had all that fake snow falling there and then in the end when he takes her to see real snow.

Lucy (tigerlilywarior) | 35 comments Oh, I know, the titles are pretty awful and that cover looks like something from the 90's instead of 2007.

I'm listening to the audible now and I could totally see the publisher reading the last chapter and going, "The title, yeah... something about snow...winter...She's a witch and he's a vampire, right?? Doesn't matter, send it to the Art Dept."
