10.2 Moon and Sun In honor of Moon Tiger and A Thousand Splendid Suns, read a book with the word sun or moon in the title. Plural, possessives, and compound words included.

10.3 Vowels In honor of Irène Némirovsky, read a book by an author whose first name begins with a vowel: a, e, i, o, or u.

10.4 Debut (Tien's Task) Read a debut novel by a female author published in the last 10 years (2013-2023 inclusive)

10.7 Scrabble (Anika's Task) The popular word game finally hit it big when, in 1952, the owner of Macy's first played the game, loved it, and began stocking it at his famous store. Now it's 2023. Read a book whose title would score at least 23 points using the Scrabble scoring system:

1 Point - A, E, I, O U; L, N, R, S, T;
2 Points - D, G;
3 Points - B, C, M, P;

5 Points - K;

20.2 War In honor of Howard Bahr and Anthony Doerr, read any book that has an MPG of War and Historical Fiction.

20.3 Dickens In honor of Charles Dickens, read any book by an author who lived during Dickens lifetime (1812-1870).

20.4 Golden Age In honor of the Golden Age of Science-Fiction, read any book of science fiction originally published in the 1930s, 1940s, or 1950s.

20.5 Scandinavian Noir To honor mystery authors from Scandinavia, read any book by one of the authors on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordic_...

20.6 Wilder In honor of Laura Ingalls Wilder, read a book with a child's Point of View. (Age 13 or younger)

20.8 Morrison In honor of Toni Morrison, read any book by a woman who is also a person of color.

20.9 Popular Science In honor of Ed Yong, read a book with an MPG of Science and has a rating of at least 3.75.

20.10 Letters (Owlette's Task) Read a book (fiction or nonfiction) where a character writes a letter by hand (no typing). Tell us the name of the letter writer. Personal journal and diary entries are excluded.
