The book is about a British female MC (or other similar nationality) who gets her memory erased for some reason (i think it has something to do with the crime rate) and then she has to navigate through her memory coming back in waves. She has a sister named Amy, and there's a male protagonist, near her house in the book is a mountain that is mentioned every so often. There are also a lot of scenes inside hospitals.
