jvickery88 | 112 comments Will share some of the text that stood out to me.. I noticed some nice sentences

jvickery88 | 112 comments referring to the house..
"what's burning down is a re-creation of a period revival house patterned after a copy of a copy of a copy of a mock-Tudor big manor house. It's a hundred generations removed from anything original, but the truth is aren't we all?" (page 14)

"Another thing is no matter how much you think you love somebody, you'll step back when the pool of their blood edges up to close" (page 15)

"She said, "His car rolled right over the top of him"
She said, "That's why he'd be so perfect for you"" - wow, I actually thought the nun was nice until that line hit me ..evil!

Nasta_lm | 133 comments I've just started and I'm struggling with English a bit. Hope I'll quickly get used to the author's writing)

jvickery88 | 112 comments Heads up. This book is messed up on many levels. I’m actually hiding the cover if I read it in public 🤣😭

Nasta_lm | 133 comments the girl needs help with mental health really. And her parents make everything worse. I don't like what's going on there.
I've finished half of the book

jvickery88 | 112 comments The parents are so twisted. When they first have the dinner I didn’t want to read anymore ..sick

Nasta_lm | 133 comments What am I reading...
It feels like the author tries to make it more disgusting just so it would be more disgusting and without any big purpose or sense.
