1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month?
I got up to date in one series, Will Trent by Karin Slaughter

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I started one series, Lovelight by B. K. Borison and will definitely continue.

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
None but I am nearing completion of one book that just missed.

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I had two 5-star reads, After That Night and None of This Is True, both utterly outstanding. One more special mentions, too, The Trap, which I may just bump up to 5. It was brilliantly crafted.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I continue to fall short of my reading goals and series reading with 9 books read this month. I’ve had to focus on clearing my backlog of standalones, which has been a nice change of pace. Another month where I loved everything with one that was poorly narrated.
After That Night (Will Trent, #11) by Karin Slaughter None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell The Trap by Catherine Ryan Howard

I think that 2024 is going to be my year for getting back to this series.

9 books is nothing to sneeze at and you had books you loved. To me, that's a fantastic month :)

Well done, Robin!
It's fantastic when a series ends on a great note.

Yes, 1.
Shooter (Burnout, #1) by Dahlia West - I loved this book. I will absolutely continue.

3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
Yes, 7
The Designs of Lord Randolph Cavanaugh (The Cavanaughs, #1) by Stephanie Laurens Drive Me Wild (The Others, #7) by Christine Warren Her Protector's Pleasure (Mayhem in Mayfair, #3) by Grace Callaway Lie To Her (Bree Taggert, #6) by Melinda Leigh The Hippopotamus Pool (Amelia Peabody, #8) by Elizabeth Peters Blood Ties (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit, #12; Blood, #3) by Kay Hooper Willing Sacrifice (Sentinel Wars, #8) by Shannon K. 4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
Yes, Shooter (Burnout, #1) by Dahlia West . This book was amazing. I loved the heroine who is quiet and shy with a core of steel, and the hero's grumpy stoicism was very appealing.

5. Overall summary of your reading month? I read 10 books. Most were great but a couple were disappointing. I'm glad that the Fool's Gold series ended on a good note.

1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month?

I’m up-to-date with Bree Taggart series with Catch Her Death I love this series. I’m hoping there is more to come soon.

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?

I started a new series with my grandkids. The Naturals This book is well done. I’m not a YA fan, but the situations and characters are realistic, even if the program is farfetched.

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?

I moved forward with most of the group reads. Yay!!

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
Yes, I had several

The Savage Rage of Fallen Gods
Catch Her Death
The Christmas Guest
The Naturals

I loved each of these because of the characters and the unique twists and situations.

5. Overall summary of your reading month?

I’m very happy with my reading this month. I’m slowly getting caught up, and in some cases, I’m moving ahead.
