20.6 - It's A Fact - EmilyGraceR's Task: In Pursuit of Trivia

My family have always loved anything trivia, whether it be TV show questionnaire based games, local quiz nights or our beloved favourite- trivia based board games, and Trivial Pursuit always reigned king in our household.

Choose one option, and read one book for that option. Sequential art/manga/graphic novels are not allowed, children and middle grade books are allowed given they follow the SRC guidelines.

Required: State the option

Option 1: The circle counter with coloured pie shape pieces is the iconic eye catcher of this game, consisting of six different colours. Read a book with six distinct different colours (i.e. not merely different shades of the same colour) on the cover according to Tineye. A guide to using Tineye can be found here: How do I use Tineye?
OR
Read a book with a rainbow on the front cover. The rainbow must be a typical arc rainbow.

Examples:
The Gate to Women's Country by Sheri S. Tepper At the Foot of the Rainbow by Gene Stratton-Porter The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour , Where The Rainbow Ends by Anurag Anand The Dark End of the Rainbow by J.E. Irvin

OR
Read a book from the following list: Dazzling Multicoloured Covers

Required: Post the cover. If using the list option, state which page of the list the book is found on.

Option 2:
Read a book whose authors first and last initials can be found in the word TRIVIAL PURSUIT
Example: The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
Both A and L can be found in the two words.

Option 3:
The game features six different categories.
Read a NON-FICTION book with one of the following MPGs: History, Geography, Entertainment, Art, Science or Sports.

Kathy KS | 2381 comments So, on Option 1 (list: Dazzling Multicoloured Covers), do we have to read that actual book, with the multi-colored cover? Or any edition of the same title?

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments Thank you!

I've been trying to fit a book all season and failing to find a task for it, but I think it finally works for your Option 1/Six Colours! Assuming I've got this right, and there are no lower limits on the percentages for any given colour.

The Bruising of Qilwa by Naseem Jamnia

Any edition of the same title works for me, if its on the list but you have a different copy, I still say that counts
