At the beginning of the year I list out 10 or 12 books for each month. Over the course of the year I end up reading some of them early for unrelated challenges, and I just knock them off the list without replacing them. As a result, I only have three books left for October, so I guess I'll try to read all three!

I like that kind of synchronicity too, Rhonda!

Finished Then she was Gone. I liked it, but it was pretty sad and dark.

Vita Nostra by Marina Dyachenko and Sergey Dyachenko - 4* - My Review

Sam Hell finished! It was well written and great characters.

Finished my 1st pick -

A solid followup to the first book in the series. Karin Slaughter is always a fantastic writer. A great story!

Finished my 2nd book -

I love John Grisham and this is a good story. It just didn't grab my attention as strongly as i would have liked.

It was one of my lowest rated Picoult Books, though I liked the end -
"A favorite author, but this one didn't really work for me. I had no interest in the first half (Galapagos Island) stuff/story nor the NYC Art (Yoko/John Lennon?) tie in. I really liked Finn's e-mails and the last third of the book (a Covid Survivor's story.)
