Cheryl (cherylllr) Series!

How do you all feel about reading series for discussion? I don't mean the whole thing, and of course I mean starting at book one, but someone just suggested a trilogy and my reaction was a hard no. But this group is not mine; it's yours. Would you be willing to start a trilogy or series with the group, and then decide on your own whether to continue or not?

Cheryl (cherylllr) (Possible related question: would you like to consider reading a whole series with the group, over the course of several months?)

I discovered Jodi Taylor’s St. Mary’s series through this group and I loved the first book I read most of the others on my own. I’ve actually been considering re-reading them. So if it was something like that, yes I would be interested. I find that sometimes people nominate Kindle-only options in this group, some of which are part of a series, and in that case I would be out.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Hm. Format requirements is another question, and anything related to availability, yes, thank you very much for bringing that up. Good to know that you, at least, are not opposed to series on general principal.

So, yes, for now let me add that I, personally, vastly prefer the book to be in libraries in paper, though I will read library ebooks or openlibrary digital archived copies if pressed.

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments We have read books and I continued the series but that would be a difficult buddy thing to do.

I also loved the St. Mary's series but don't have them all.
