She doesn’t want to learn how to live without the two people who knew and loved her best in the world.

Most of all, she doesn’t want to deal with her brother, Mark, who never left their hometown, gets fired from one job after another, and resents her success. Unfortunately, she’ll need his help to get the house ready for sale because it’ll take more than some new paint on the walls and clearing out a lifetime of memories to get this place on the market.

But some houses don’t want to be sold, and their home has other plans for both of them…

Sure she's not the nicest to him but still it's like all he cares about is that he collects it all. Didn't even seem all that broken up his parents were dead. I AGREE... this brother is treated like he doesn't do anything wrong, yet is dealing with the death of his parents so horribly compared to his sister... all he cares about is the money, it's sad.

I'm hoping the brother gets the crap scared out of him in the upcoming chapters. also I HOPE Louise doesn't plan on taking home the puppets.. (hide spoiler)]

50% (view spoiler)[ Their stubbornness is real even though they are seeing unbelievable things they still want to consider who wins in this siblings rivalry that they have. I don't like how the parents have their favorites but maybe there's a reason as to why the wills is that way. (hide spoiler)]
