Letter from A. Bertram Chandler

It would help to list an example title to make sure the correct author is being discussed. I've never heard of him. Is this one of his works?

Chandler was kind enough to write a long letter to a young man, and I have kept it all these years as a treasured item. Recently it hit me that his children or grandchildren might appreciate having it. I contacted the agent representing his legacy work, but no luck. Apparently he is not in touch with the family.
I then thought it might be appropriate as an introduction item to the Grimes series which is now in print.
There is a wealth of information in the letter about Chandler’s own view of how things got to be where they were with Grimes - he speaks of almost every book as being a different ‘Time Track’ version of Grimes (about the same time as Moorcock was getting into the multiverse idea as well).
My favorite part is his last line where he draws all the confusion into a net of 8 words:
Essentially, Grimes is like Topsy. He "just growed”.
Did he ever use this line anywhere else?
This letter might make a wonderful introduction to a collection of his works. Is anybody doing that? I really would hate for this ‘piece of history’ as it were to be lost…
I thought it would be appropriate to post it here on Goodreads on his page, but have no idea how to or whom to talk to about doing it. I've scanned it as a jpeg - is there someone I could contact here to send it to that could do that?
