Read a book with a beach setting or with a beach scene on the cover (show cover).

1.8 (Marilyn's Task) October Birthday
I celebrate my 78th birthday on October 21.

1.9 (The Adventures'Task) Out of Your Comfort Zone
This month, I'm inviting you to read any book of your choice in a genre that is outside of your comfort zone. So for example, if you never read graphic novels, mangas, or chick lit, or science-fiction, pick a book in one of this genre.
Explain why you picked your book, and how it is outside of your comfort zone ;)

1.10 (Amber's Task) Amber Second Favorite Month (Part 2)
I enjoy this week not only because of getting to be at the beach and here in SC it's a great time to go. The temperatures are pretty mild this time of year here so it's perfect beach sitting weather. I mostly enjoy it because I have the whole week with my family. My parents, brother, aunts, uncles and cousins all in the same place for more than just a few hours.
Read a book where a family member of the MC plays a prominent role.
