I'll start nominating Gods of the Wyrdwood by R.J. Barker. I liked the Bone Ships trilogy by the author, the 1st book won the British Fantasy Awards in 2020
It is short, but I just picked up Emergent Properties by Aimee Ogden and would like to nominate it. Given the length, it'd go well with a second novella.

I guess if another novella is nominated we can decide to read both. However, bear in mind that December is often a busy month

I'm fine with just one short one too. I doubt I'll have tons of time and if I do, I can always catch up on some group reads I missed from earlier in the year (looking at you, Translation State).
Emergent Properties is the leader as of now, but the other two are just 1 vote behind and a few days to go. Don't forget to vote if you haven't!

lol
However, the member who voted may re-cast their vote before deadline, so this power is limited if interest in voting is high
