Another board game for the end of the year!

How to play:
1. Roll a single die (it can be a real one or a virtual one—all you have to do is google ‘roll die’).
2. Move to the square you landed on and complete the challenge.
3. After it's completed (it doesn’t have to be done all in one sitting), roll again and complete the next challenge, and so on and so forth.
4. If you land on a square that has a challenge AND a ‘Jump Ahead’ or ‘Roll Again,’ complete the challenge FIRST before moving on.
5. The goal is, of course, to reach the END. You will have won the game after the final challenge is complete.

Two ways to play:
1. Easy version: In order for the challenge to be considered complete, you must read at least HALF the book where applicable.
2. Hard version: In order for the challenge to be considered complete, you must finish the WHOLE book where applicable.

Have fun and happy reading! 😊

Gord | 1000 comments I was flying along on this but I think I'm about to stall out. I got "read a book with a technologically advanced world" and that is just not something I see myself normally reading. Our world with slight upgrades, sure but not this. I'll have to see what I can find.

Gord | 1000 comments The first thing that pops into my head is Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos

Gord | 1000 comments Alright, I need a judgement call for "read a book with a technologically advanced world". The year is 12,090 AD we have traveled outside of our solar system, there are lasers, force fields, levitation devices, etc but the man has suffered under the rule of vampires for 300 years which came about after a nuclear war. In some ways this feels like a medieval setting with torches, swords, etc but it's also very futuristic. For instance many ride cyborg horses including our MC.

I'm just not sure about this one. In some ways it fits but it's not like man is still advancing. In many ways man is regressing.

I say it fits. We had tech to travel outside the solar system. Even if it is now regressing in some ways it still has had the tech

Gord | 1000 comments Thanks! I figured it would work but this book is such a mashup of genres that I really wasn't certain which way to take this book.
