Chapter 1-7

This book is crazy and fun. I read a third of it in 3 hours. It is all in direct speech and well I am not going to write spoilers, but I'm curious about your impression, Divisha.

The plot makes sense but it is incidental to the dialogue in the book. It reminds me of buddy cop movies, or a movie like The Nice Guys. Will continue reading. But I'll finish it probably by tomorrow evening.

Hi Luffy! I usually like to comment during my reads but this time I just couldn't find the time. I finished reading the book yesterday!
Of course as soon as I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I loved Lorelei's snarky remarks. For instance,

“Let me get this straight. An artist sold one of his pieces, but he doesn’t
think the buyer is good enough to own it, so he paid you to steal it.”
“That’s it in a nutshell,” Gun agreed

I was filled with amusement when I read this.

also,
“If you can’t change back, how would you feel about living on my
moat?”
This was hilarious 😂

The book had good vibes and I loved how the author combined Greek mythology into it too. The main thing I like about Annabel Chase's books is their fast pace.

I was a bit disappointed in the end though. I think Kane should have supported Lorelei for what she was instead of being cold and distant just because she kept things from him. He could have understood that Lorelei had a reason for doing that. But never mind, overall the book was great, and I will read the next one when its released!

Hi, I didn't know you replied! I finished the book earlier this week. I already deleted it from my e-reader, but I agree with you on what were the great quotes. If you want to buddy read more please send a comment on my profile or post directly to my inbox :)
