When Tracy receives that disk, it doesn’t take her long to see the connection between the murdered women who weren’t prostitutes. As they were connected to former Mayor Edwards who she’d already determined was deeply corrupt, she had to divulge all she’d learned about Weber, Edwards and Gunderson to Nolasco who knew nothing about any of it. Was that a turning point for him and Tracy?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Yes, I think this was a turning point for them. He knew Tracy had been under a lot of pressure knowing that the Mayor, the Chief and several cops were corrupt but not being able to do anything about it. She confided everything to him. I think at this point he felt that he needed her to help solve the case.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments She certainly risked a lot to tell Nolasco all of this. I'm glad he redeemed himself (who knows whether this will last?) in this case.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I might be wrong, but I think Nolasco had already admitted to Tracy that he was the original leak twenty five years ago. That took a lot of guts. She could have told Weber about it and got him in trouble. Him telling Tracy that little secret enabled her to spill all of the things she had learned about Weber, Edwards, and Gunderson.

I thought the exact same thing, Robin. This moment shifted everything in their relationship. It didn’t mean they were going to be BFFs but they knew they needed to partner and were on their own.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree this was a turning point for these two. I hope that they will have a better working relationship in the future. Like Jonetta, I don't expect them to be besties, but hopefully Nolasco can judge Tracy's performance more objectively.
