When another woman is murdered after McDonnel died, everything blows up with Tracy and Nolasco having to almost go off the grid together to plan how to identify the killer. When, if ever, did you begin to suspect the killer was Augustus Cesare? What tipped you off?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I suspected it was a cop. It felt like they knew too much about the investigation, both old and new. The only suspects I had were Henry K. England (former task force member) and Augustus Cesare who did a lot of computer work for the task force. I also questioned if the medical examiner (Funk) could have done it since he said he'd been around since the original murders.

My main suspect was England. When they cleared him, I moved on to Cesare.

It was here when I began thinking it was someone inside of the investigation and I went to Augustus Cesare. He was the one who managed that spreadsheet and was known for his meticulousness. It dawned on me that he’d probably kept a copy and was the one who mailed it to Tracy. I honed in on him and could never let him go.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I believed it was a cop, but I didn't guess Cesare. For some reason, I thought he was too laid back. That should have been a big clue.

Yes, and that was my clue! Still waters run deep?
