Second book in a series with a cat shifter Chloe and her group of friends or as it is fashionable to say nowadays - found family of elves, vampire and werewolf.
I consider this more like a cozy UF as there is no high stakes drama or combat through the book. We only get some action at the very end of the story. But it's all okay by me as the characters and their relationships make it very enjoyable reading.
There is a small hint of romance between Noctus and Chloe but mostly it's a story of Chloe evolving and accepting her newly found supernatural powers she gets to try in action at the end.
Small cliffhanger regarding the Noctus and Chloe storyline makes me want to pick up next book rather sooner than later.

This book was fun to read , it reminds me of The Iron Druid Chronicles Series by Kevin Hearne. The humor is very similar. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. I really enjoy the mc August Shade and the problems he gets into. The elephant in the handicap stall was one of my favorite scenes . I look forward to more August adventures.

A solid start on a new series. I did enjoy this book and it was a quick read for a 500+ book. I did enjoy the main character , Bunny ‘s humor . She is a vampire from England who has moved to Alaska to run away from the “Vampire King”. This is a light UF with shades of a cozy mystery. I will probably keep reading this series sometimes you need something light to read.

Review- This book had me hooked from the beginning to the end! The main character has gone through a lot in her short 19 years, and she is afraid of herself. She has a power that is a lot, and she has no clue how to handle it or who she can trust with the knowledge of it. The world building is this book was OK, not the best, but it also wasn't the worst I have read. The author is great at creating relationships in this book and conveying emotions. I recommend this book because of the character building it is great!

I'm a fairytale lover. Stories with princesses, magical worlds, all kinds of creatures, adventures never ending and a HEA with a handsome hero saving the princess - what more would you need in a perfect book.
As much as I adored first and second book in Once Upon a Broken Heart series, this third book was probably my least favorite. There was a lot less adventure and much more "cutsy" heartbroken sighing and long love declarations. Of course it was a YA series and very young characters, so it was fine and didn't change my investment in a story.
I love Stephanie Garber's writing and world she created. I'm glad I can move on to Caraval series to enjoy her storytelling again.

I saw that we have a team name and that is also done, thanks admins!

That end!
Oh my goodness, that end! The whole book was just great. The world building was a 7/10, and the character building was also a 7/10! From the beginning, I felt like I was on the edge of my seat. I didn't know what would happen next! The main character had a great personality, and so did the guy she likes, which is rare in most books today. That end was not at all what I thought would have happened it completely knocked me for a loop! I am going to jump right into book two of this series! I highly recommend!

Finger crossed!

Review:
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the others in the series. I didn’t enjoy Cat so much in this book, normally she is very funny but it was lacking in this book. Bones and Cat seemed to argue a lot in this book and I didn’t enjoy this. The plot was okay this time around. I did enjoy Vlad and there were a couple of surprises. I will continue on with this series, her hoping the next one is bette.
