Hi all, my name is James Knapp and I've got a novel out called Alice in No-Man's-Land that I am thinking should have been branded YA but currently isn't. As I consider rebranding it as YA, I'm hoping to get some opinions on a potential new cover. Option A is the current cover, while Option B is the one I'm considering changing to (bear in mind that Option B is just a mock up in this case, while Option A had a lot more work put into it. If folks prefer Option B, the final product would look better than the mock up).





So, what are your thoughts? As readers of YA, which cover speaks to you more? Which would you be more apt to take a closer look at? Option A? Option B? Neither?

I'm a best selling (I say this as I went up to #3 in the entire Amazon store Whoop!) memoirist who has just crossed over into fiction with my book,Wrecked and Yours The story about overcoming strife is one that resonates with me. I lived it myself. Wrecked and Yours is a story about three homeless kids, and how they navigate life. As adults they reconnect, and it’s messy, like life often is. It’s their season to make a choice, look at life honestly and deal with it, or continue to run away. I absolutely loved writing it.
