Who liked Eadlyn's character at the start of this book?

Hi everyone! Today we are talking about 'Who liked Eadlyn's character at the start of this book?' So, to start off this discussion I would like to say that I think that Eadlyn's character did get better during the fourth and fifth books. I'm also really happy how the series ended-but thats another topic for another day.
So, since I posted this, this means that I DID NOT enjoy Eadlyn's character in the fourth book.
What are your guys's thoughts?

I hated the fact that we didn't get to see America really become queen and the transition through that. I wanted to hate Eadlyn. Just like she wanted to hate the contestants! But by the end of it I actually connected with her - she still compares herself to others, built walls to keep others out and talks down to herself. I got so annoyed of hearing her constantly say that she was the most powerful person in the world, but she had an eye opening experience by the end of the book. I'm super excited to see her take the Selection seriously. I wonder what could've happened with the boys that she first eliminated if she was actually taking it seriously.
