1. Log into your Amazon account on www.amazon.com. Hover over “Your Account” and click "Manage Your Content & Devices" or go to www.amazon.com/myk.
2. From the "Your Account" tab on the Manage Your Kindle page, click the "Show:" dropdown menu and select Audiobooks from the list of manageable content.
3. Select the content you wish to delete by placing a check mark in the "Select" column.
4. After selecting your content you can click "Delete" from the top of the page.
The books will then be permanently removed from your library. We hope this information was helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this message. Thanks!

Thanks for asking the question Dee. Honestly, I don't think there's anything you need to do to 'merge' your Audible and Amazon accounts. They just are merged because www.amazon.com and www.audible.com are web presences of the same company. Their customer data is shared. I'd advise you to poke around.
Or at least, I didn't do anything special. I've been wrong a time or two. Maybe I've missed something.

I started using a password manager a little over a year ago (LastPass) and love it! Helps me to use a separate password for each site.
Agree totally about clearing cache and basic privacy/security measures.
As to being able to delete books permanently, how silly is it that there is no way through Audible to simply categorize our books. Then we could mark books as read/unread.

But if not, you should contact Audible customer service. I contacted and the answer is telling me to exchange a new title.
