Happy Halloween everyone! I love this holiday but it's always bittersweet as it marks the end of my favorite season. The countdown to spooky season will reset in a few short hours but until Halloween comes around again we have a lot of other things to look forward to in the meantime!

We did Land on a couple double colors so we have some extra prompts this month but they are fun ones!

The Prompts

Spin #1

Spin #2

🌙 For this one I admittedly had animals, aliens, AI, etc. in mind but I will also accept supernatural creatures even if they appear human.

Spin #3

🌙 One of the fun repeating prompts! Remember to share the emoji you got when you share your tbr.

Spin #4

Spin #5

🌙 Anything other than a blank hardcover will count for this- even a simple stamp. But if you're up for a challenge try to find something extra fun!

Spin #6

🌙 For this one I'm looking for those titles that have random words that don't make a traditional title- for example:

Boy, Snow, Bird
Ghost Wood Song
Girl, Serpent, Thorn

I hope you enjoy this month's prompts and they lead you to read some great books! Don't forget to share your TBR- as always I'm curious to see what you all choose. Happy reading!

Hey Nat! Not sure if this helps but I’ll also accept a book you own as long as a hardback edition with a fun hardcover exists!

Nat (waterfallz) | 656 comments Sounds good! My main plan is to look around the library, assuming I get the time to read a bunch in November.

For the random consecutive words prompt, do you think either The Devil, the Witch and the Whore or Rock Paper Scissors counts? I don't think I really have anything else on my TBR like this.

Nat (waterfallz) | 656 comments Wow. November really flashed by. Between finishing the musical I was in and job searching, I did not get a lot of reading finished. The only book that I finished for this challenge was Happily Ever After?, which wasn't my favorite. I'm hoping that I might be a little closer to being able to fulfil all of the prompts for December.

well I won't be able to complete my TBR for November before the end of the month so it's a fail but I still plan on reading the books that I chose for these prompts before the end of the year. 🤞🏻

I did finish Seven Faceless Saints and ended up liking it quite a lot. I wasn't sure how I'd end up feeling about it but the second half really brought it home.

I'm 262 pages into All Rhodes Lead Here and I'm enjoying my time with it so I'll definitely be finishing it in the next couple of days.

I ended up reading a bunch of other books that weren't on my TBR instead of the ones I picked but I did end up finishing a couple that I had started a long time ago so thats an accomplishment. My goal is to start 2024 with a clean slate so that means finishing all the books I've been in the middle of for months. wish me luck in December!
