I’m always slipping.
“Why do I keep slipping?”
“Do I wrap my legs wrong?”
“Do I not have a good grip?”
“Why did I Do that?”
Those are the thoughts in my head as I climb
and fall from up high
I keep slipping and almost falling.
From the top of the silks and from the lyra
The lyra,
it’s a beautiful form of aerial arts,
that you strategically balance yourself
hoping you won’t fall.
Aerial silks,
What are they?
They’re a long silk like fabric made of nylon
hanging from the ceiling or rafters
that you can easily slip down.
I’m always slipping.
