This book could have fit into several categories, but with a quirky one word title I decided to put it here.
Mim Malone is one of the quirkiest characters I've come across in all of the YA books I've read. Spontaneous, sarcastic, clever, witty... these words and more describe Mim. Not to mention, teenager through and through - she embarks on a road trip to find her sick mother, thinking she has all the facts and that she must get to her to save her. Mim's mental journey is just as important as her physical journey. The people she meets along the way, and the strange and often surreal experiences help Mim face her demons and find her way to a clearer mind without losing her self.
