Review Group discussion

Hello World.

I am new to the writing world and was checking places were my book could be reviewed. I saw some other topics, but I am curious if I am too late to the ongoing one. If I do join one there's a timeframe in which I have to read 4 other books and review it correct? Or are those threads just for reviewers?

Welcome to the group! Two housekeeping things to work on before you participate in groups here:

1) You are currently posting from a regular Goodreads user account, rather than an author account. Please look up the name of your book by searching on Goodreads, which should take you to your author page, and then ask Goodreads to merge your author page with your existing regular user account.

2) To participate in groups, your messaging must be set to where "anyone" can send you a private message. To adjust your messaging status, please go here:

We don't currently have any rounds in review group that are open for sign ups, but new rounds open every few weeks so keep checking back. After you have your author account established, if you want to send me a PM, I will be happy to add you to my list of new members who I will send a PM to the next time rounds open up, if you'd like.

Here is the folder you want to look in. Look for a round that says "now forming" in the title. If there are none, there are no open rounds at the moment, but new ones open every few weeks, so check back, and/or set your notifications for the group to get alerts.

If you join a review round, there will be a timeframe to complete your reviews. 3 weeks per book, with 4 books assigned to you in the round, so 12 weeks total.

There is also the one for one list. No waiting is required. In order to participate, just choose a book from the first post of the list, contact the author for a review copy (or read through KU if you have it), then after you post your review links on Amz/GR, your book will be added to the list for someone else to choose and review.

Thanks a bunch for the response Kat. I have done both, my setting is set to anyone and I submitted to have authors badge yesterday morning so hopefully it won't take too long.

I just re check and it was on anyone.
Is this setting right? If so anyone was already picked. I did re save maybe that helps.
