Poorvi | 302 comments Hi all, can anyone please recommend books where the Hero is absolutely horrid to the heroine specifically to make her dump him. Reasons don't matter, the bigger the jerk the better.

Bonus points if he suitably redeems himself afterwards.

I haven't read it, but there is one on my To Read list that seems to be along these lines, Cheater's Regret. I read the previous book and this one seemed to be leading up to exactly what you described, although no idea if he redeems himself.

Bea Tea (beatea) | 3 comments Basically anything by Diana Palmer, especially her Long Tall Texan series. Her specialty is mean heroes who are outrageously horrible to very sweet, blameless and kind heroines - and somewhere down the line the hero realizes his mistake and does everything in his power to win her back. Bonus points if the book includes the heroine running away and getting terribly injured as a result, add some extra guilt and groveling to the whole thing.
