Shadow and Bone question

this is the worst series ive ever read in my entire life. i have never been so bored with a book.

I am with you. I got halfway through the second book in that series and stopped reading it. Thankfully a friend mentioned Six of Crows. It is one of my favorite of all times along with Crooked Kingdom.

i think its a good book, i gave it 3.75 stars. it was pretty good but i read better (Its my opinion on it) the first half didnt click for me at all but the other half did, because of the plot twist

I'm so in love with this series but especially the first book!! I've read the Six of Crows duology and it just didn't click for me. I love the characters in Shadow and Bone, the grisha training, the love triangle (square??), and the plot...literally chefs kiss

Honestly, reading it was pretty hard for me. I'd heard a lot about Six of Crow and only bought it because I wanted to get the full experience. Even now, I've only finished Siege and Storm and can't find the energy to pick up Ruin and Rising. Kinda scared to read Six of Crows now, if it disappoints as much as Shadow and Bone did.

The Shadow and Bone trilogy is definitely not my favorite, but they were Leigh Bardugo's first novels. She really improved her writing with Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom.

I loved this series it was so good I hate the Darkling but love Alina and Mal. Also the actor who plays Mal in the show is so fine I know some people don't like him but I do.

I like Six of Crows and King of Scars better, but I still love this series. It's just fun and. . . Fantasy! Magic! Adventure! Complicated things between characters!
