I loved it! It helps if you’re a fan of The Time Traveler's Wife and understand the slipping back and forth in time scenario.

I am not sure I have seen it or not but I read a lot of Harry Potter Time Travel Fanfictions.

Have you watched any episodes of Doctor Who since the 2005 revival? In that, a character named River Song meets The Doctor (who may be played by David Tennant, Matt Smith or Peter Capaldi, depending on the story) at various points along his timeline, which we see as linear. Her timeline is completely different, as is Tom Bertram’s in the fanfiction and Henry's in TTTW. Fanny Price’s timeline is linear from our point of view but Tom’s isn’t.

If this is as clear as mud, just blame it on “wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey” stuff! (quote from David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor)

Wasn’t it just? I have absolutely no idea how to rate it. 😱😱😱

I know. 3.5 still rounds to 4 which is what I gave it. As disgusted as I was with Caroline, I was more disgusted with a wimpy Darcy. Where was his backbone? He let her and Bingley manipulate him and his honor. Nope. I didn't like that part at all. I love the ones where he holds his ground and refuses to marry her. Since he was so groggy, it was obvious that he had been drugged. Then to discover why she attempted the compromise, made my head nearly explode. Good grief! I couldn't believe it.

I’m with you on that, Jeanne. When the reveal of the reason for the compromise turned up, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor!

I love the way Darcy reacted in A Gentleman’s Honour: “Yes I’ll marry you but you’ll be spending the rest of your life on an estate in Scotland” or words to that effect.

Oh, yeah, I loved that one. Now that is the Darcy I love to read. Whew! Where is my fan?
