Wow, that looks like fun! I have had mixed success reading Scalzi, but this is now on my want to read shelf.

It's got cats! What's not to like :-)

I'd lean to fantasy in this case, personally, although with scifi there is usually some fantasy if it's off of our planet, and often even if it's on planet. I hope it's funnier than Redshirts (3 stars for me.) But, honestly, even though I'm not a huge cat-book fan, I love the cover and that is 50 percent of the draw for me.
