I'm of the opinion that much of the time the biggest obstacle to a nonfiction book getting published is they can't get the cover quite ugly enough. Plus I run a challenge called "ugly once a month (pretty the rest of the time)" so I'm always on the lookout for the skugly, the fugly, and the butt-ugly.

Ioana | 2122 comments Interesting list, I've only read Liar's Poker and while I don't think it was Michael Lewis's best, it was still very good. Can't wait to see what you think of the other ones. Happy reading!

Michelle (marcher08) | 1705 comments Fun list! And you are right they all do have ugly covers. Best of luck!

Lea (leaspot) | 3629 comments I love this list, and the title to this list. I haven't read any of the books on here, but I want to. I think Lethal Passage is my last book by Larson, so I keep trying to squeeze it onto a list, but other books have been line butting ahead of it for so long! Here's hoping that judging a book by its cover is a mistake...at least for these choices. :-)

Jackie | 1103 comments The only one I have read is Glucose Revolution: The Life-Changing Power of Balancing Your Blood Sugar. Interesting and logical ways to help level your blood sugar by the order in which you eat your food. Good luck with your list.
