Fingersmith and The Woman in White are both excellent. I know nothing about most of the others, so I'll follow your reviews, happy reading!

I agree with Ioana about Fingersmith and The Woman in White. Jonathan Strange was also excellent. A House for Mr. Biswas was interesting, not my normal read. I have a couple of books by Kim Robinson on my bookshelf. Hoping to read at least one in 2024. Enjoy.

I tried Red Mars during the pandemic and that was not a good fit. I really need to try and read it again. One of the MCs was a pill and made it interesting; so, I need to try.

I read The Corrections many years ago, when it first came out. I had to get the readers companion to get through it. That helped a bunch, and I was able to read along with the Oprah book club back then. Pretty fun experience.

Nice list Joy! I’m also planning to read Three Day Road in 2024. I’ve been meaning to read Foucault’s Pendulum and Jonathan Strange for many years! Epitaph is really good. Hope you enjoy your selections!

Wow. You're powering through them and they're challenging books. I enjoyed Collin's The Moonstone and I really liked the TV series based on the Woman in White. I may have to brave it some day. I remember enjoying Jonathan Strange. It took awhile to get into but ultimately I think I found it satisfying.. So long ago... LOL
