Ioana | 2122 comments You have some amazing books on this list: The Green Mile, Rebecca and A Town Like Alice were all 5 stars books for me, I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did. Happy reading!

Recommendation: Read At the Mountains of Madness prior to reading The Terror. It really adds to some of the creep factor, because you never really know what you're dealing with. The human factor is the real monster

Loved Rebeccas, again, The Terror; at the Mountains of Madness was excellent, Desperation was fun; Green Mile is fantastic. I read it as a series that when it initially came out, you received a book every 3 months. Ugh; I hated waiting! The Book Thief is also excellent.

Good luck and happy reading, Brittany! 📚

I am also reading Ararat in one of my challenges so I'm excited to see someone else reading it! =)

Rebecca, The Book Thief, The Green Mile, all 5 star reads for me. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this list!

Nice mix of books. I've enjoyed The Green Mile, Desperation, Rebecca, A Town Like Alice, Slaughterhouse - Five. All quite different. Oh and Lovecraft is very strange... Enjoy all of your selections.

Lea (leaspot) | 3629 comments Brittany, you've got some great variety on your list. I am also hoping to read The Green Mile sometime this year. I have read A Court of Mist and Fury, Wuthering Heights, The Book Thief, Slaughterhouse-Five, At the Mountains of Madness and Rebecca. Rebecca is probably my favorite, but I thought they were all worth reading. Best of luck!

I studied Wuthering Heights in school and loved it. Even though the 1st book was on my 2023 challenge, I still haven't got round to starting the ACOTAR series
