All I wanted to do was live my life in peace. Maybe get a cat, expand my spice farm. Really anything that doesn't involve going on a quest where an orc might rip my face off. But they say the Goddess has favourites. If so, I'm clearly not one of them.

After saving the demon Fallon in a wine-drunk stupor, all he wanted to do was kill an evil witch enslaving his people.

I mean, I get it, don't get me wrong. But he's dragging me along for the ride, and I'm kind of peeved about it. On the bright side, he keeps burning off his shirt.

I started this and the first line is great! "I had only two things on my mind, cheese and how to get home"
And that kind of sets up the mood of the book so far. Just the right kind of ridiculous. I've only read one chapter but enjoying it

chapter 5 somewhere I think, 26% (view spoiler)[ I am loving Fallon's scaring Cin into sleeping beside him. He really is terrible with the Hungry Man story and the shadow hands but its so funny too.
Cin should've kept her mouth shut after destroying the goblet in the temple by her if she didnt want to go on an adventure. Instead she told him there's 3 more temples. What did she think was going to happen? He already likes his Rabbit.
