I finished! It just so happened that I had left this toward the end of the year, so The stars aligned for the first time in months for me to update as a monthly read challenge prompt finished. I am using it for prompt #8.

I was excited to read it, because it has been hyped for awhile and I heard it is being made into a film for Netflix.

I've enjoyed it and don't want to spoil things. This book had many smaller and larger plot lines intermingling - and only in the last 20% of the novel do you start to see how entwined everything has become (rather like a ball of yarn!) I hope you all enjoy it!

Rating: 8/10, would recommend!

Dubhease | 642 comments I read The Odyssey. Supposedly Homer was blind.

I would recommend it because so many books and tropes on TV reference it. (The Simpsons even parodied it.) And it's good to read the classic that it all comes from.

Would you recommend this book? God, YES! I loved this so much. I cried, I gasped, I laughed. There are so many feels here. This can be a difficult read, and so packed with emotions - but so spot on.
