Can you believe Christmas 🎄 is in two days away? I have one more gift to buy and food.

On a Happy note! Tessa (aka Book Concierge), Juliet (aka The Adventures.....), Marilyn, and I got together earlier this month to have lunch, chit chat about books, our lives, and exchange some books. We had an enjoyable time together. So glad Tessa was able to come to town this year.

And, of course, we sat in the "library" corner of the restaurant! (The Monday special of half-price bottle of wine didn't hurt, either!)

Going to the grocery store EARLY this morning to grab the black eyed peas and cabbage before the pre-new-year's-day rush.

Then I'll spend the rest of the day sorting out and getting my threads organized to start 2024 with a book.

Can't wait to see what January has in store for us here! It's always a great set of tasks, and I'm tapping my foot (and fingers, and blinking my eyeballs) in anticipation.
