LC Cardadeiro | 232 comments Just wanted to let you know I got a bad cold so I’m down for the count. But I think once I feel better I can read half in a day

Lena (madworld) | 232 comments No worries! I've read the first half and I am really enjoying it! It's a slow burn done right! Hope you feel better soon!

LC Cardadeiro | 232 comments Just finished the first half. I like how the book started off and where it is going. I like Elsie, she had to work hard to get things. Unfortunately they don’t just come to her. For some reason I thought she was going to get the job. I thought maybe Jack would change his mind then persuade them all. The physics talk isn’t bothering me, luckily. Looking forward to them getting together in the 2nd half! What do you think of the book so far?

LC Cardadeiro | 232 comments I just finished the 2nd half. I’d rather have the fight be something not science related. Idk why, maybe just because the science part I’m not interested in. The 2nd part was a faster read but I feel kinda meh about it. Overall still good book. What did you think?

Lena (madworld) | 232 comments I really liked the whole book. I liked that the romance was rather slow in the 1st half and then picked up in the 2nd. And I actually liked that the fight was not about anything between them, but something that happened long time ago.
I think that the science talk/professional life and the romance part were well-balanced and I didn't feel like there was too much of either.
The fact that Jack was so obviously into Elsie and just casually confessed that to her without any games, even though the feeling was not mutual at first was a nice surprise.
Overall, a good book, but it didn't sweep me off my feet like Love Hypothesis and I'm still waiting for that wow effect from this author :)

LC Cardadeiro | 232 comments Exactly! I love, Love Hypothesis so I compare all her books to it. Hope you had a good holiday!

Lena (madworld) | 232 comments I had a great time, thanks! Hope, you did too!

Yeah... Love Hypothesis set the bar so high - and it was the author's first published book, I think.

Happy New Year!
