Yes, it is free to join. The books are all in print and they are free if you win them in the prize draws or collect enough points to exchange for a book. You enter the prize draws and earn points from writing first impressions and reviews of the new books featured on the site.

Readers First is completely free, they send out print copies of books.

Questions:
Can you please explain more about this group and what it means to be a member? Can we readers select the genres we're interested in reading? Is there a timeline for the completion of the books received? What if you're not interested in reading a particular book? Do you keep the books or return them? Will the books be hard-covered and published or PDF copies?

I found out about it after buying a book from a charity shop. At the back of the book there was a whole page advertising the Readers First website.
