I’m a wee bit late again as I had not turned n notifications. I hope I have understood this challenge.

My choice is Sebastian St. Cyr Mystery series, C.S. Harris - 19 volumes.

Susan, I just love this series. It's one of my favourites. But to be honest, I haven't read the first three. I started with the fourth and got hooked. Please let me know what you think of them as you read.

Rubena - I’ve read book 1. As a first in the series I found it to be very good. I don’t know if it would be anticlimactic since you are well into the series now. This book sets up the family of Sebastian and his previous romance which play a role in this story.

Hi Susan. I picked up most of the back history from the other books but I do have to read the first three because somewhere in them is the reason why Lord Jarvis can't touch Kat Boleyn. So I do have to read them. It's just that Hero isn't a main player there and I do adore her. But, I will read it as soon as I can.

I don't know if there are going to be new challenges this year. But I really enjoyed this, so I'm going to count the books again for 2025 . I'll delete if new challenges are put up.

Oh, I let my books overlap challenges. It's most likely that I wouldn't have hit my 100 books.

Though, I may have just realized, a year late, that perhaps I misunderstood the challenge. I thought I was supposed to just count the crime, mystery and thriller books. I see that I should have named series I'm going to read. I might have to rethink this or only list books that are part of series - which actually is most of what I read anyhow.

I tend to read series as well. The thing is I'm like a kid in a candy store and go from one series to another. Last year I started a couple series that I didnt put on the list so maybe I will add them and hopefully finish them this year.

Haha. Same here. In another group, I'm in a serial challenge where I name the series I plan on reading. I had a goal of like 60 books. I ended reading 90+ and I didn't even read all the serials I planned on reading!

I forgot about this so I'm starting again but adding to my same post.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this group and I just stumbled upon this fun challenge of counting the books. I'm a huge fan of crime, thriller and mystery and I'd love to see how many more I can read. I'll update my progress as I get through the books. To begin with I'm reading The Murder Room by P.D. James.
